About the guide

First Coast Cigar Guide is an independent directory of cigar lounges in Northeast Florida. It is a personal project by Les. Each listing collects hours, prices, events and house rules in one place.

Independent

No lounge, cigar maker or brand pays to be listed or reviewed. Les buys his own cigars and drinks. Every review says the date of the visit and who paid. If that ever changes, the listing will say so.

Where each fact comes from

Every line on a listing is marked with its source:

• Seen in person Les confirmed this at the lounge on the visit date shown.
• Lounge’s website Taken from the lounge’s own website and not checked in person.
• Event board Read from an event board or sign posted at the lounge.
• News report Tourism listing Directory listing Taken from a news article, a tourism listing or a business directory. These are public sources we have not checked in person.
• When an owner sends details, the listing marks them as owner-provided.

A lounge we have not visited is marked Unverified. Its page says what we could and could not confirm. A listing stops being unverified after Les visits or the owner confirms the details with us.

Hours and events change. Call the lounge before you go.

For lounge owners

You can verify your listing, correct a fact, or send details we missed with the short verification form. You can also write to les@firstcoastcigarguide.com. Before we publish anything you send, we confirm it with the lounge by its public phone number or email.
